The genius of this software is to be able to transform a single node into a separate project by exporting it to a separate file. ctd is an xml file, whose initial opening is immediate but is designed for small projects, as each modification involves the rewriting of the entire file, making saving slow in the case of large dimensions.
CHERRYTREE LINUX INSTALL ARCHIVE
Its initial opening is not immediate but it is perfect for the management of large projects as each change modifies the single record of the entire archive making saving quickly There are no folders or collections, there are only our notes (called nodes) which can have infinite child-nodes. The conception of the notes is slightly different from that of Evenote or Paper. I have no saving limits, I have no limits of synchronized machines, I have no limits in case of network failure. With Cherrytree instead I save my archive file on my cloud, on my nas, or on my pendrive that I can transfer from computer to computer. With Evernote there is the possibility to synchronize the account offline with the client for Windows, but I have a limit of machines for synchronization. It is a notes manager, an archive, which at first glance seems to be a clone of Evernote, but using it we realize that in reality it is much more advanced, practical and easy, with the great convenience that the whole workspace is saved to a local file. Yes, because as long as there is internet everything is fine, but if at that moment THE PROBLEM occurs but the company connection does not go outside, you cannot connect to your cloud service and you have to waste hours when you could lose 2 minutes thanks to the your note that you cannot reach at that momentĬherrytree is my salvation.
